Permalink →Win every Booster Course Pass cup
Golden Dash through Spiny, six waves of them, 48 more courses on top of the base game.
Take three stars in every cup at 150cc
Sixty points a cup, which means first place in all four races. There is no cleanliness criterion: 54 gives one star, 57 gives two.
Unlock Mirror mode
Deluxe ships with every engine class open, Mirror included. Nothing gates it — this one is free on the first boot.
Win every cup on Mirror mode
The whole base board again, flipped left to right. A star or better in all twelve is what buys the Gold Standard body.
Win every cup at 200cc
The fastest class in the game, and the only thing standing between you and Gold Mario.
Unlock every character
Gold Mario is the only locked driver, and gold in every 200cc cup is the price. The eight Booster characters arrive with the download, not through play.
Unlock every kart part
Seventy-eight parts. Coins buy seventy-five of them; the Gold Tires come from staff ghosts and the Gold Standard from Mirror-mode stars.
Beat every staff ghost in Time Trials
Ninety-six times at 150cc, and another ninety-six at 200cc behind them. Only the original forty-eight buy the Gold Tires, and nothing in the game marks a ghost as beaten.
Win a match on all eight battle arenas
Battle Stadium, Sweet Sweet Kingdom, Dragon Palace, Lunar Colony, Urchin Underpass, 3DS Wuhu Town, GCN Luigi’s Mansion and SNES Battle Course 1. All of it works against the CPU, and none of it is recorded.
Win a Battle Mode match on Battle Stadium
Deluxe’s own arena, and the default pick.
Win a Battle Mode match on Sweet Sweet Kingdom
Sweet Sweet Canyon’s confectionery, rebuilt as an arena.
Win a Battle Mode match on Dragon Palace
An underwater palace with anti-gravity running up the walls.
Win a Battle Mode match on Lunar Colony
A moon base, and the low gravity that comes with it.
Win a Battle Mode match on Urchin Underpass
Borrowed from Splatoon and rebuilt for karts.
Win a Battle Mode match on 3DS Wuhu Town
Wuhu Island’s town, last seen as a course in Mario Kart 7.
Win a Battle Mode match on GCN Luigi’s Mansion
Double Dash’s arena, back again.
Win a Battle Mode match on SNES Battle Course 1
The first battle arena the series ever had.
Win a Renegade Roundup match
Deluxe’s own mode: the Authorities drive with Piranha Plants bolted on, the Renegades run. Playable against the CPU.
