Evolve your Kalos starter to its final stage
Chesnaught, Delphox or Greninja, at Level 36.
Take a Kanto starter from Professor Sycamore
Beat him at his Lumiose City lab and he hands over one of Kanto’s three, with its Mega Stone in the same breath.

Ivysaur, Charmeleon or Wartortle — all three at Level 16.
Evolve your Kanto starter to its final stage
Venusaur at Level 32, Charizard and Blastoise at Level 36.
Mega Evolve your Kanto starter
Sycamore’s stone plus the Mega Ring from the Tower of Mastery in Shalour City. In Y the Charmander line gets Charizardite Y, so it is Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard Y or Mega Blastoise.
Complete the Central Kalos Pokédex
Every entry in central Kalos, caught rather than just seen.
Complete the Coastal Kalos Pokédex
The middle third of the Kalos Dex, surf routes and all.
Complete the Mountain Kalos Pokédex
The last stretch of the regional Dex, up through the snow.
Complete the National Pokédex
The 705 the diploma asks for — Sycamore skips the sixteen event-only Mythicals, Deoxys among them.
Corner the roaming legendary bird
Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres roams Kalos depending on your starter. Chase it down, then catch it in the Sea Spirit's Den.
Catch Mewtwo in the Unknown Dungeon
Pokémon Village hides a cave once you're Champion.
Catch Zygarde in Terminus Cave
The order keeper waits at the bottom of the cave on Route 18.
Collect every Mega Stone in your version
Most of them are lying in the open between 8 and 9 PM once the Mega Ring is upgraded. Five are locked to this cartridge — Charizardite Y, Mewtwonite Y, Heracronite, Houndoominite and Aggronite — and five more belong to the other one, so "every" means every stone Y will actually give you.
Catch or hatch a Shiny Pokémon
Chain fishing, the Friend Safari, Masuda eggs: any sparkle counts.
Hit five hearts in Pokémon-Amie
Max affection with one Pokémon. The petting minigames count.
Clear every Super-Training Regimen
Levels 1–3, six regimens apiece — one for each stat. Clearing every regimen in a level unlocks the next one.
Collect every HM
Cut behind Parfum Palace, Fly from Professor Sycamore in Coumarine City, Surf in Shalour City once the Tower of Mastery is done, Strength from Grant outside the Cyllage Gym, Waterfall from Shauna on the Route 19 bridge.
Ride every rental Pokémon in Kalos
Rhyhorn on Route 9, Skiddo at the Baa de Mer Ranch, Mamoswine on Route 17, and the Gogoat Shuttle in Lumiose City.
Eat at every Lumiose restaurant
Restaurant Le Nah, Restaurant Le Yeah, Restaurant Le Wow, and the Sushi High Roller.
Upgrade the Mega Ring in Kiloude City
Beat your rival at Kiloude, then touch the sundial at Anistar. Afterwards the hidden Mega Stones start showing up on the map, and only between 8 and 9 in the evening.
Beat every Sky Trainer
Fourteen of them, only battleable by a Pokémon that can actually fly, spread over Routes 8, 9, 11, 16, 17, 18 and 19, Azure Bay and Frost Cavern.
Get the Oval Charm
Professor Sycamore hands it over once you have seen every Pokémon in all three Kalos Pokédexes. Eggs come faster afterwards.
Get the Shiny Charm
For the National Pokédex, from the same man who gives you the diploma. The odds go from grim to merely bad.
Get a Pokémon Fully Trained
Fill a Pokémon's Effort-o-Meter to 510 EVs. It earns the Fully Trained mark, and that mark is what opens Secret Super Training.
Clear every Secret Super Training regimen
Levels 4–8, open only to a Fully Trained Pokémon. The run ends with The Battle for the Best against a Mega-Evolved Balloon Bot.
Earn the Training Ribbon
Gold-medal every Super Training regimen, then show that Pokémon to the man in the Lumiose City café.
