Progress

The chapter after the credits: Zinnia, the meteoroid, and the Draconid history that Mega Evolution came out of. Ends in orbit, which is not a sentence this series lets you write often.

  • Meet Zinnia in Littleroot Town

The meteor shower tickets are barely in your hand before a Draconid woman introduces herself, and makes it plain she knows exactly what your Key Stone does.

  • Face Courtney outside Wally's house

Zinnia takes your rival's Key Stone and goes looking for Wally's. Courtney gets to Petalburg first, and is not asking politely.

  • Take the Meteorite Shard from Granite Cave

Steven lays out the meteoroid problem at Devon Corporation. Zinnia is waiting in the cave, and she battles you before she hands the shard over.

  • Hear out Professor Cozmo at the Mossdeep Space Center

The plan is to open a warp hole and push the meteoroid through it. Zinnia is the only person asking what is on the other side.

  • Learn who the Lorekeeper is at Meteor Falls

A Draconid woman explains the inheritance. Zinnia carries it, and it comes with Rayquaza attached.

  • Stop Team Magma taking the dimensional shifter

The control device goes missing from Devon, and the second trip to the Space Center is a fight for the shifter itself. Zinnia destroys it anyway.

  • Find Maxie already beaten at the Team Magma Hideout

Zinnia got there first and took his Key Stone. He gives you the Cameruptite on your way out, which is not the mood you expected from this room.

  • Get Sky Pillar unsealed

Steven names Wallace as the other Lorekeeper. He agrees to open the tower, then asks you to prove on the Route 131 island that you are worth opening it for.

  • Beat Zinnia at the top of Sky Pillar

The murals tell the Draconids' side of the story. Then she stops explaining and battles you properly.

  • Catch Rayquaza and teach it Dragon Ascent

Your Meteorite is what it has been waiting for. It is the one Pokémon that Mega Evolves on a move rather than a stone.

  • Break the meteoroid apart

On Rayquaza's back, in orbit, with the music gone. There is nothing else in the series quite like it.

  • Catch Deoxys

It comes down with the meteoroid at Level 80 and does not go quietly.

  • Watch the meteor shower

Zinnia says her goodbye at Granite Cave, and the episode puts you back outside Littleroot with your rival, looking up.
